Planetary urbanization and Variegated Neoliberalism

The School of Architecture, the Institute of Urban and Territorial Studies (IEU+T) and the Institute of Geography at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC) organize a round table debate seminar regarding critical urban theory at the occasion of Professor Neil Brenner's visit to Chile.

The discussion will approach two main topics in Prof. Brenner's work: Planetary urbanization and Variegated Neoliberalism.

The event will be structured in two blocks introduced by Professor Brenner on each topic and followed by a critical debate. A final conclusion will open questions from the audience of students interested in urban theory.

The event is hosted at the Institute of Geography at the San Joaquin campus of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
